Kym Marsh has opened up about why she doesn’t plan to wed her boyfriend Matt Baker, who is 13 years her junior.

Kym was previously married to Jack Ryder – who played Jamie Mitchell in EastEnders – from 2002 to 2009.

She then wed Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas – who has recently returned to the soap as bad boy Warren Fox – and the pair had two children together, daughter Polly, now five, and son Archie, who was born 18 weeks premature and sadly passed away moments after birth.

Jamie and Kym divorced in 2014 and has been dating Matt for the last 14 months.

The personal trainer, 27 lives with 40-year-old Kym with her daughter Polly and her two other children David, 21 and Emilie, 18, from a previous relationship before Jack.

Speaking to new! magazine, Kym revealed that she won’t be heading down the aisle with Matt anytime soon, despite the pair being “very happy”.

“There’s been no conversation between us,” she explained.

“We’re taking things slowly and seeing how we go”.
