The Mirror claims that in tweets, that have since been deleted, the 34-year-old model admitted she still has feelings for the Celebrity Big Brother star.
"@devildawg85 Truth is we talk everyday and Miss each other. I'm sorry for how I've behaved. I really loved you x" one tweet said.
After previously posting a screen grab of missed calls from David to his rumoured new girlfriend Metisha Schaefer, Kelly then had another message for her.
She wrote: "Darling you have no idea. I wouldn't want to be you right now. Have some self-respect and compassion. We just broke up."
Despite reports that David's cheating ended their relationship – something he strongly denies – his brother has hinted that Kelly could have been behind the split.
He told Heat: "One wonders why she is still single and had failed engagements. As for [David] being needy and insecure, it seems it's her who is needy and insecure.
"[He] couldn't be himself for fear of ruining her girl-next-door image."
David's brother also insisted he would 'never cheat on Kelly'.
