As she landed back from Turkey following her latest multiple surgeries, Katie Price appeared to be in good spirits despite being wrapped in painful-looking bandages following tweaks to her eyes, nose and ears in her bid for a ‘Bratz doll’ look.
However, sources tell Closer that as the former glamour model recovers she’s in for a shock as some of her exes have reportedly lined up to dish the dirt on their relationships with the mum-of-five for a tell-all TV documentary to expose ‘the real’ Katie Price.
With her former fiancés Carl Woods and Kris Boyson, as well as ex-husband Kieran Hayler – who has reportedly already signed a book deal to release his memoir about his ‘chaotic’ life with Katie – ready to open up about her, the explosive show is said to be ‘already in the works’.
‘It’s a documentary-style show that will focus on Katie’s rise and fall,’ our insider explains. ‘Producers are aiming to showcase the highs and lows of her tumultuous life and career. The series promises an unfiltered look at her journey – from her meteoric rise to fame to the scandals, headlines, heartbreaks, and betrayals that followed.’
The source continued, ‘Katie’s story is larger than life. She captivated audiences for years, but behind the glamour was a world of chaos, infidelity, and self-destruction. This series is about revealing the truth, through the people who were there. This isn’t just another celebrity profile – it’s a deep dive into what really happened.’
The documentary, planned for a major TV network, is said to feature first-hand interviews with Katie’s former lovers and fiancés, ex-managers and publicists, close friends and industry experts.
The source explains, ‘They want to show the good, the bad, and everything in between. They will be speaking to the people who knew her best, the ones who saw the rise and the fall firsthand. There’s been talk of projects about Katie before, but none have gone this far. This is raw, unfiltered - and for the first time, she won’t be the one controlling the story.’
And sources tell Closer that Katie, 46, will be furious about this latest TV project, which follows reports of Carl deleting his Instagram after being ‘embarrassed’ by the documentary Katie Price: Making Babies. The two-part documentary, which aired last month, followed the ex-couple’s IVF journey as they tried for a child together before their split in 2023.
‘When Katie finds out she’ll be furious. She’s going to hit the roof,’ says our insider. ‘She likes to be the one controlling the narrative and she won’t be able to. The idea that people from her past – some she hasn’t spoken to in years – are lining up to talk about her? She’ll see it as a betrayal, no question, especially the fact her exes are ready to lay all their cards on the table. That will really scare Katie.’
It comes after the mum-of-five recently spoke about her ‘toxic’ exes, accusing them of ‘gaslighting’ and being ‘narcissistic’. Having been married three times and engaged eight times, she has Harvey, 22, with former footballer Dwight Yorke, Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, with singer Peter Andre, and Jett, 11, and Bunny, ten, with Kieran.
During a chat with Louis Theroux on his podcast, she said, ‘My downfall is men. I’ve had to learn all this in therapy. I need that neediness and then I end up in a toxic relationship, narcissistic or gaslighting… but now I know my validators it’s completely different.’
Our source adds, ‘For years, Katie has spun her own version of events, but now the truth is finally coming out. She won’t like it.’
The news couldn’t come at a worse time for Katie, amid rumours that her romance with Married At First Sight UK star JJ Slater is in trouble, as Closer revealed last week. The couple – who started dating last year after she saw him on MAFS in 2023 – put on a united front as they jetted off to Turkey together as she underwent more surgery, less than a year after her 17th boob job and a sixth facelift which reportedly cost £10,000.
Sources claim that their relationship is under strain due to Katie’s spiralling trips to get yet more surgery. But despite JJ’s feelings, she wants to go ahead with plans to go under the knife again in around three to four months’ time, so she can achieve her New Year’s resolution of making £500million within the next three years – after being declared bankrupt last year.
Her ex Carl had previously raised alarm bells about her ‘surgery addiction’, revealing in an interview that she was playing ‘Russian roulette’ amid fears that she’d kill herself in her continual quest for perfection under the knife.
And following the horrifying images of bandaged Katie returning from her latest bout of surgery, our source adds, ‘She’s had her nose shaved and pulled to match the Bratz doll image she is obsessing over becoming and she can’t wait to go out and showcase her new look,’ the insider tells Closer. ‘She doesn't care what people think or say, she knows this look is going to earn her millions.
‘And there's still more work to go – Katie is reducing her breast size and is looking at ways to remove excess skin. Her next op is scheduled for end of May or June. Katie wants her body image makeover to be completed to reveal in time for her to hit the beaches in Ibiza when she will debut her summer anthem!’
