Katie Price isn’t known for being feisty for no reason.
After being slammed for allowing her children on social media she defended her decision because "social media is the way forward."
She was also recently filmed appearing unmoved on her TV show Katie Price’s Pony Club when her daughter Princess was thrown from a horse.
And her book Reborn, set for release soon, is no exception. In excerpts, published in The Sun today, she makes many a shocking confession, including that she wished to commit suicide after discovering her husband Kieran Hayler's affair with her former best friend.
Now, the former glamour model has called out Harvey’s biological father, Dwight Yorke, for not being involved in their son's life.
This isn’t the first time Katie has spoken out about Dwight. She's previously described him as a ‘minger’ and slammed him on Instagram for not seeing their son.
Harvey suffers from Prader-Willi Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that means he contantly feels hunger. In an excerpt from the book she touches upon this, and Dwight's inability to accept the disability.
"The last time Harvey’s biological father Dwight Yorke saw him, which was around eight years ago, the first thing he asked was why Harvey was so big," she explained.
"Why was I overfeeding him? I’d explained Harvey’s condition to Dwight many times, but he refused to understand it and kept going on about him being fat."
She then slammed the former football player: "It’s sad that he in unable to accept Harvey for who he is and seems unable or unwilling to work within his limitations.
"I have always said that if Dwight could see what a courageous and talented boy Harvey is then he would enjoy being with him so much.
"For me, it’s impossible to understand why a little boy’s dad wouldn’t make contact after being sent snaps of his son opening his birthday presents, learning swing ball, or giggling his head off a quad bike.
"They are such precious moments. Any man can fill a pram but it takes a real man to be a father."
