After narrowly avoiding a court hearing over her debt last week,Katie Price revealed a new money-making scheme. The mum of five is resurrecting her alter-ego, Jordan, and has signed up to raunchy picture-subscription site, OnlyFans, following in the footsteps of pal Kerry Katona. Dressed as a nun to announce the news, she seemed unfazed by her recent woes and said, “The reason I’m doing it now is because there’s no lads’ mags like before. I’m not doing anything for nothing, I don’t need to flaunt my body on social media for nothing when I will always be paid to do what I love to do. For me, I think my body is valuable – there’s so many young girls doing this, but I’m just as good as them.”

But a source says that despite her bravado, joining OnlyFans has been Jordan’s “only viable option”. The source adds, “For so long, Katie has said she won’t go down this route, but her financial situation is dire. She’s in a difficult situation – financially and personally – and she’s seen other people dig themselves out of holes by joining OnlyFans. She wants a slice of the cake and she feels this is now her last resort.”
Last week, Jordan was facing court for not paying a three-year-old fine, but she managed to avoid an appearance by paying it in the 11th hour. Reports also claimed she was being investigated by authorities over her lavish lifestyle since being declared bankrupt in 2019 and owing £3.2 million to creditors. Instead of living modestly, she has been taking luxury trips to Vegas and Turkey. And while she reportedly earned a six-figure sum for her new Channel 4 show, her lawyer has said she’s so “disorganised and chaotic” with her finances that she ends up racking up thousands in unpaid fines. A source adds, “Katie has never been able to keep her finances in order and that’s why she’s managed to blow £45m over the years – unfortunately it seems she hasn’t learned from past mistakes.”

Meanwhile, on 21 January, Jordan, 43, was arrested on suspicion of breaching a restraining order, which bans her from contacting Michelle Penticost, her ex-husband Kieran Hayler’s fiancée. Jordan was given the order in 2019 after abusing Michelle at the school gates. The arrest came four months after she flipped her car while driving at 6.20am – she was later given a 16-week sentence for drink-driving while disqualified and not having insurance.
In July, Closer reported that Jordan had been considering doing OnlyFans in a bid to “turn her life around”. It’s thought she was partly inspired by her old friend Kerry Katona, who was declared bankrupt 14 years ago, but is now thought to earn over £1million a year.
At the time, Jordan had recently undergone a Brazilian bum lift, full body liposuction and a third face lift, but her fiancé Carl was said to be unhappy with her joining the site. He has previously told Closer that he disliked her alter-ego, saying, “If she was still her ‘Jordan’ alter-ego we would have clashed because I hate partying. I can’t stand the ‘Jordan’ thing. I like it when we are on the sofa watching Neflix.”
