After plunging to her lowest point, troubled Katie Price seeks treatment - but friends have doubts she's committed to seeing it through
She’s been on a downward spiral since thecollapse of her third marriage to Kieran Hayler in May, diving headfirst into romances with personal trainer Kris Boyson and millionaire Alex Adderson, indulging in a series of boozy nights and becoming embroiled in a shocking cocaine scandal in Mallorca where she was filmed rapping ‘I love coke’ during a wild hen do.
But last week, Katie Price, 40, appeared to finally face-up to reality when she was pictured entering rehab facility The Priory for 28 days after beingdiagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder - following an intervention by her family.

In one of the most bizarre celeb fueds in recent reality TV history, Katie Price and Chris Hughes had an epic bust up last year culminating in KP threatening to expose screenshots of flirty texts.It all started with some harmless flirting, but then Katie denied Chris' claims she had sent him some saucy messages. He then named and shamed her on Twitter and posted messages she had sent him on Instagram and WhatsApp.Just when we thought all the drama was over the mum-of-five warned the reality star at her show An Audience With, she said: "Some celebrities should be careful with what they say and not out people."It will come back and bite them on the bum. Do you know what I mean?"
The reality star – mum to Harvey, 16, Junior, 13 Princess, 11, Jett, five and Bunny, four – will be allowed to go home at night but is banned from social media during her treatment.
Her mum Amy – who is battling a terminal lung condition- opened up about her daughter’s recent downward spiral, insisting: "Katie has been her own worst enemy and behaved like an idiot at times but she has been tearing herself apart for years.
"I am relieved that Kate has admitted she needs help to cope, to recognise her shortcomings and erratic behaviour, and to learn to love herself – to find the person inside she really is."
She alsolashed out at all her daughter's exes, but while insiders say her friends are relieved the former glamour model – who is also fighting bankruptcy - has finally sought help for her issues, they still fear Katie doesn’t understand the severity of the situation.
A source has told Closer magazine: "Katie's put herself in dangerous situations with her wild partying and there have been times when her friends have worried she'll end up badly hurt or even dead.
"But even though Katie agreed to get treatment to face her issues, everyone’s worried she’s just doing it to keep her loved ones happy. They still doubt whether she's genuinely ready to face her demons head on and deal with them."
They went on to add: "She’s already been making jokes about having a 'rehab party' with friends she’s met there and doesn’t seem to be taking it seriously which has raised some concern that it could just all be a bit of a joke to her."
The news comes shortly after it came to light that thereality star left rehab to attend a wedding just four days after she checked in.
