Fears for Katie Price over new baby riddle

As fans continue to speculate over whether Jordan is pregnant with her sixth child, insiders say she’s plotting a 'baby race' against ex Peter Andre

She’s made no secret of her desperation for another child, previously saying, "I still want more – even though I’ve got five kids". And earlier this year, Katie Price revealed she even had plans to adopt an orphan from Nigeria.

But last week, speculation was mounting that her dreams of baby number six were set to become a reality following a string of events that hinted at a pregnancy.

She posted a cryptic comment on Instagram alongside a loved-up picture with her boyfriend Kris Boyson, which read, "If only people knew what we know." Fans were quick to comment underneath, asking if she was pregnant.

The mum-of-five – who underwent a third face lift, bum lift and liposuction last month – was then snapped in public holding a pregnancy test, but as Closer went to press, her representative issued a denial that she’s expecting.

However, insiders reveal that 41-year-old Jordan – real name Katie Price – has been trying to conceive and they wouldn’t be surprised if she were already pregnant with toyboy Kris, 29.

A source says, "Katie thrives on drama and always needs big life events to focus on.

"She’s been craving another child ever since she met Kris, but was waiting to finish her latest bout of surgery before she started trying again.

"While she was working in Mallorca last week, she didn’t appear to be drinking and joked to friends that she and Kris have been enjoying 'plenty of time in the sack'."

As Closer has reported, Jordan has been suffering empty nest syndrome recently. During a spate of wild behaviour last year – where she self-medicated on drugs, temporarily went into rehab for post-traumatic stress disorder and committed a string of driving offences – her children Junior, 14, and Princess, 11, moved in with their dad, Peter Andre, while she has joint custody of Jett, five, and Bunny, four, with estranged husband Kieran Hayler.

Then, in April, she revealed she’d been forced to put disabled son Harvey, 17 – who is partially blind, autistic and suffers genetic disorder Prader-Willi syndrome – into residential care in the week.

Pals believe Jordan craves having a hectic "house full of kids", which is driving her plans to have another baby.

The source says, "Katie thrives in chaos. She’s only happy when everything is manic and noisy at home.

"One of her favourite things to do is to have a takeaway with all the kids curled up with her on the sofa watching films. When the kids are all with their dads it’s a massive contrast for her."

They continued: "She hates being in the house when it’s so quiet and soulless. She thinks having more kids is the way to getting a happy home life, but some of her friends are concerned that she needs to focus on herself and her relationship rather than have the upheaval of a newborn.

"On top of that, there are some fears about the physical demands another pregnancy would take on her."

The former glamour model underwent a series of complications during her last two pregnancies. In 2013, Jett arrived eight weeks early and weighed just 5lbs 2oz after she was forced into an emergency caesarean while on holiday in the south of France.

The following year, Bunny was born six weeks prematurely after a stressful pregnancy, during which it had emerged Kieran had been unfaithful with two of Jordan’s best friends.

Meanwhile, pals reveal she’d love get into a baby race with ex Pete – with whom she’s had a long history of spats. He has children Amelia, five and Theo, two, with his wife doctor Emily MacDonagh.

In May, Pete, 46, revealed he was feeling broody again after the arrival of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s son Archie, saying, "I’ve started thinking: 'Should we try for another one?'... I know the joyful feelings they’re experiencing right now and it brings it all back home."

The source says, "Katie is always on a mission to get one up on Pete. If she can be the one to have another baby before him, she’ll take it as a small victory. She feels this baby  will heal a lot of wounds for her and help ‘take the smugness’ away from Pete."
