There was a time we thought they’d never work out their differences, but Katie Price and Peter Andre seem to be getting on like a house on fire these days.
The former husband and wife have insisted their issues are well and truly behind them, and this week they sent Twitter into meltdown with a cute exchange of messages.
Now Katie, 37, has opened up about their friendship, and confessed she’s happy 42-year-old Pete married doctor Emily MacDonagh.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, mum-of-five Katie said: “I’m so happy Pete’s with someone like Emily! She’s posh, she seems like a proper lady and that’s what I want my kids to be around.
“I’ve never had a problem with Emily, ever. I think she’s good for the kids. She’s really feminine and she isn’t gobby like me.”
Former glamour model Katie and Pete split in 2009 and share son Junior, 10, and eight-year-old daughter Princess Tiaamii.
Katie and husband Kieran Hayler are parents to Jett, two, and 18-month-old Bunny, and she’s also mum to Harvey, 13, from her relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke.
Pete and Emily, 26, tied the knot last year and have two-year-old daughter Amelia together.
Because of their large extended family, Katie admitted she’d love to do a big joint photo shoot – and would even consider posing for one alone with Pete.
She continued: “Imagine if Pete and I did a shoot together talking about all the old times? Or if all four of us did a shoot together with the kids? Never say never to any of it!”
