In a bombshell interview last week, Katie Price sensationally claimed that every partner she’s had has been unfaithful, saying, ‘Everyone I’ve ever been with has always cheated or wandered or done something, and always with someone minging!’
But in an exclusive chat with Closer, her ex-fiancé Carl Woods insists that he never cheated on her and that it was in fact Katie who strayed – even while they were going through IVF to have her much longed-for sixth child. Ahead of their split, the former couple filmed documentary, Katie Price: Making Babies, which recently aired on Channel 4 and followed their efforts to start a family together.
Echoing the thoughts of viewers, who questioned why it still aired last month despite them having split up in 2023, Carl shares, ‘I don’t understand why that even came out, to be truthful with you. She was shagging and linking up with multiple men behind my back during the filming of that. She had plenty of potential sperm donors during filming that weren’t part of the show! That’s all very embarrassing because that was supposed to be a time where you’re trying for a baby and it’s all hope, but behind closed doors she was cheating on me. It was a very messed up time.’
Following their meeting in 2020 through a mutual friend, Carl, 36, and Katie, 46, began a three-year on-off relationship, getting engaged in 2021. And after Katie – who is mum to Harvey, 22, her son with Dwight Yorke, Junior, 19, Princess, 17, who she shares with Peter Andre, and Jett, 11, and Bunny, 10, with Kieran Hayler – publicly admitted, ‘I need more babies’, the pair decided to go through IVF together and start a family.
But it wasn’t successful, and it all came crashing down for good in 2023, with Carl claiming that he caught her messaging a Premier League footballer. In response to his allegations, Katie accused the salesman of ‘just wanting to be famous’.
And Carl now claims that Katie – who was previously married to first husband Pete from 2005 until 2009, Alex Reid from 2010 until 2012 and Kieran from 2013 until 2021 – ‘doesn’t loves anyone’. He says, ‘She’s emotionless. When she says that she loves you, it’s just a game to her. She’s adapting to what you think and what she thinks you want to hear. She’s just feeding you the lines.’
At first, Katie’s relationship with Carl seemed like her happy ever after following a string of toxic romances. But now Carl, along with Katie’s exes Kieran and Kris Boyson – who she dated in 2018 – are reportedly set to come together for a new documentary about ‘the real’ Katie Price, as Closer previously reported. Carl reveals, ‘The fact is, not every boyfriend has cheated on her – I haven’t. Kris didn’t cheat.’
Speaking about his unlikely friendship with her third husband Kieran – who admitted to cheating on Katie during their marriage and had treatment for sex addiction – he continues, ‘I’ve always got on with Kieran – there’s never been a problem between me and him. Kieran’s a nice guy, and she’s always been the first to admit that he’s a wonderful dad.’
Since late 2023, Katie has been in a relationship with Married At First Sight’s JJ Slater – who, at 31, is 15 years her younger. And whilst the pair appear to be going strong, Carl doesn’t believe that their relationship can last.
‘She’s been with him over a year, and I can guarantee you she’s had a sneaky bit of d**k behind his back,’ he says. ‘She’s addicted to the chase, she’s addicted to feeling wanted, she’s addicted to it being shiny and new. I feel sorry for the geezer.’
But while her relationship with JJ seems stable for now, Katie has been concerning fans with her dramatic weight loss and continuous surgeries in her self-confessed efforts to look like a Bratz doll. Last year alone, Katie underwent a £10,000 facelift and 17th boob job, joining a catalogue of surgeries that began in 1998 with her first boob job.
And according to Carl, she’ll never stop. ‘She’s an addict,’ he says. ‘Whatever she does in life, she’s addicted to. That being said, I think she should carry on with her surgery if that’s what makes her happy.’
Despite the drama still surrounding him, Carl is now keen to move forward with his life.
‘I’m ecstatic to be out of that relationship,’ he admits. ‘It’s a distant memory, it’s an embarrassment. I’m over the moon and I think JJ has done me a right turn, taking her on. I can’t wait for the future – and I can’t wait to hopefully become a dad one day, when the time is right and with the right person.’
