The 30-year-old charity owner gave birth to her first child Belle in March 2014, after revealing she never thought family life would be possible for her, due to her past.

In March 2008, Katie had sulphuric acid thrown in her face by a man hired by her ex-partner. Piper suffered severe burns as a result of the attack, and has had dozens of operations to minimise the damage and give her back a functioning face.

Since the attack, Katie has campaigned tirelessly for more help for burn victims, raising money for them to have life-changing procedures, and also gives motivational speeches - encouraging others not to judge people by their appearance.

Katie and her boyfriend James, 28, announced they were 'overwhelmed with happiness' when they welcomed their first child in March, adding: 'We can't wait to get to know her!'

And the star has since celebrated the fact that Belle heralded in a new chapter in her life, saying: 'the other night everyone I met wanted to talk to me about the baby, not about my burns and recovery. I thought: "Hallelujah."'
