The website Crowdwish came up with the stunt, with a representative managing to get Katie to sign the document and pose for a photo afterwards.

Take a look at Katie's most controversial moments.

UK site Crowdwish aims to make people's wishes come true, and their wish of the day was 'I wish Katie Hopkins was the subject of a gagging order banning her from any form of public speaking.'

Their representative waited outside The Shaw Theatre, where Katie had been speaking at an event, and pounced as she was leaving.

As part of the order, Katie promised to:

'Accept that my 15 minutes of fame are over…stop making 'controversial' and asinine comments about those I wrongly consider my social inferiors.'

The conditions of the gagging order are clearly listed

She also signed to: 'apologise to both Lily Allen and Kelly Osbourne for those crass and deeply unfunny things I have said about them in the past.'

Signing off: 'I'm sorry and embarrassed for pretty much everything I've ever done. I'll go now.'

Katie caused controversy earlier this week when she tweeted during the Oscar Pistorius trial: 'Oscar is sort of promoting the Paralympic Shooting events I guess.'

She has also offended mothers, fathers, overweight people, the rich, the not so rich, and anyone who's had surgery.

We wonder if she'll stick to it?
