Kate Wright has opened up about her relationship with Rio Ferdinand and has told friends she can see a future with him.
The former TOWIE star has been dating the retired footballer since the beginning of the year and they finally went public with their relationship in September.
Kate has enjoyed plenty of time with Rio's family, even going on family holidays together as she gets to know his sisters and his three children.
Kate is Rio's first girlfriend since the tragic death of his wife from cancer two years ago. She has said publicly that she is moving away from the celebrity lifestyle she enjoyed after becoming famous through The Only Way Is Essex, to focus on Rio and his family.
And now according to The Mirror, the 26-year-old says she's never been happier.
The newspaper reports that she was overheard chatting to friends at dinner saying: “We are so happy together - it’s going really well.”
An onlooker also commented: “She was telling her friends how great everything is for her at the moment.
“Rio’s children love her. She sees Rio as her soulmate - they have a real connection."
They continued: “She was saying she is happy to take a back seat with work and let his family be the priority."
