In case you’ve been living under a rock, there’s a girl in New Zealand who got a tattoo of Harry Styles on her face
Yep, although plenty of 1D superfans around the world have had Harry and his comrades inked over the last ten years, singer Kelsy Karter thought the classic face tatt to be a befitting homage to her idol for his birthday, coming up on February 1st.
But why? We hear you ask.

While the Closer offices are yet to agree on whether it’s in fact a real inking, aspiring musician Kelsy has certainly made headlines since her Instagram upload went viral.
She was even invited onto hit webseries The Edge Afternoon Show via video link to discuss her, quite frankly, insane decision.

“I just wear my heart on my cheek and I couldn't really control what went on from there," she told hosts Jono, Ben and Sharyn.
“As a fellow musician, I really respect what he's doing for rock 'n' roll. I'm a female in the modern day movement of rock 'n' roll and he's exposed the kids to sounds they might have not otherwise heard."

She continued, “Because he came from the pop world and did a rock 'n' roll album, it's opened doors for people like me. I really respect what he's doing and love what he's doing — and he's nice to look at."
Now living in LA, chasing her dream of being a successful singer-songwriter, Kelsy teamed up with Insta-famous tattooist Romeo Lacoste for the job – who notably has not shared on his own professional looking social media.
