The 36-year-old, despite being favourite to win at one point, was the first to leave the jungle.
Former footballer Jimmy told campmate Vicki Michelle: “I’m hallucinating. I was staring at the fire. I saw pizza and a curry.”
But since his exit the ex-Hull player has revealed the extent of his hunger.
He told The Sun: “Hunger kicked in. I thought, ‘I’ll do Terror Tombs and still be hungry. Why am I doing this?
“I had a black cloud over my head. I told producers, ‘I have to go’.”
According to reports, at one point Jimmy ran in to the depths of the Australian jungle screaming that he needed to see a doctor.
He continued: “I couldn’t deal with it. I needed food. I even saw blokes walk past and thought about eating them.”
Jimmy took to Twitter today to confirm that he had no desire to return to the jungle, despite outrage from many fans over his early departure.
