Jessie Wallace has been left shaken after fans threw glasses at her in a pub on a night out.
The EastEnders actress was at The Partridge on Thursday evening in Bromley, south-east London, where she is performing as the Wicked Queen in the local Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs pantomime.
A fight is said to have broken out after she refused to pose for photographs when she was recognised.
Two men began shouting at the soap star and threw glasses prompting onlookers to call the police, according to the Press Association.
In addition to the attack aimed at Jessie, fellow actor Jason Sutton, who is performing in the same production, had his head split open during the incident.
An eyewitness said: “It was a nice festive atmosphere but these two blokes stood up and started shouting and throwing glasses.
“(Jessie) told me they had been asking her for a photo and she said no because they were too drunk.

“They broke about six glasses, then they lamped the guy who is playing Nurse Nancy in the panto… he’s only a small guy. He’s going to have a real shiner.”
The two males fled the pub after frightening customers but Jessie has recovered and is heading back to work.
Her manager said in a statement: “Although very shaken by the intrusion into her private time with her family and friends, Jessie is looking forward to being back on stage today.”
