Stephanie Davis' family are not happy with Jeremy McConnell
There's always drama around the corner with Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell and now it seems that Steph's family are involved too.
After cheating rumours, paternity denial, DNA tests, reported assault and Steph collapsing in Liverpool we thought the CBB couple had been through it all… We were wrong.
It seems that Jez wants Caben-Albi to have his surname but Steph's family aren't too keen, considering everything that has happened in the past.
Since Steph first announced she was pregnant, Jeremy denied being the father until after Caben's birth where he went on This Morning to do a live DNA test.
Although the pair have since reunited, Steph's family haven't forgotten.
According to The Sun the actresses family are "wary" about the idea of Caben-Albi's surname being McConnell. A source told the publication: "Yes Caben-Albi is his biological child, but from the moment he was conceived until he was born he was 'Baby Davis'.
"On every hospital visit, scan and document he was called ‘Baby Davis’ – to Steph’s family, this is his identity.
"They’ve not forgotten she went through that pregnancy on her own, there was no help or support for Steph from Jeremy, just drama."
They added that the Irish model still needs to prove that he is both a good boyfriend and dad to Steph and Caben.
This isn't the first time Steph's family have hinted they're not keen on the reality stars relationship. The Hollyoaks actresses mum hinted that their relationship was toxic and according to The Sun both Steph and her mum have unfollowed each other on Twitter.
Eek!
Steph recently shared a cryptic post on social media, which read: "Family where life begins and love never ends." Jeremy replied and wrote: "Ahh love u babe."
You can read more about Steph and Jeremy's relationship in Closer magazines latest issue. The CBB stars friends have urged them to seek help following their "blazing rows" which always end up with "them crawling back to each other and promising it won't happen again."
