Jeremy McConnell was released from prison after serving 34 days of his prison sentence at HMP Cardiff.
The 27-year-old was serving time for breaking his community service terms by flying to Turkey for a hair transplant.
However, just hours after Jez was released he was reportedly making plans to sign up for the next series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
According to The Sun, the former Big Brother star has plans to get back onto the reality TV circuit now that he has been freed.
A source told the publication: "Jeremy is joking to friends that he's done Big Brother, he's done prison, so the next thing is I'm A Celebrity. He's joking it'd be easy after prison.
"He's feeling optimistic - yesterday he just wanted to get a good meal in him, sleep in a soft bed and take things from there."
Another source told them that Steph Davis' ex was in good spirits while leaving prison, but wasn't too fond of the meals inside.
"Jez was so excited to walk around as a free man. He kept his spirits up in prison and now he’s out it’s a fresh start for him," they said.
"Jez told us prison food was shit and was in great form, laughing and joking with us."
Jeremy was originally sentenced to 20 weeks in prison for assaulting Steph earlier this year.
He was given a suspended for 12 months, and he was ordered to complete 200 hours of community service. After breaking his terms he will now wear an electronic tag and be given a curfew.
While it was reported this week that Steph was upset by Jez's early release, she has made it clear that she is steering clear of the drama.
The former Hollyoaks actress, who shares 1-year-old Caben-Albie with Jez, retweeted a fan who wrote: "A source close to Steph denied she was upset and said: 'She has no thoughts or feelings regarding him and has not made any such comment to anyone so whoever has said that is untrue.'"
