Jeremy McConnell cried during his appearance on The Jeremy Kyle show

Celebrity Big Brother star Jeremy McConnell broke down in tears today on The Jeremy Kyle Show after he was grilled by TV host Jeremy Kyle on his violent past towards ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis.

Unless you've been living under a rock you'll know all about Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell's turbulent relationship that began in the CBB house.

Over the past two years they've been involved in lots of Twitter arguments, they've split up and reunited more times than we can count, they welcomed Caben-Albi into the world and have both been arrested for assaulting each other.

Now Jeremy has appeared on The Jeremy Kyle show to discuss his rocky past and relationship with his one-year-old Caben-Albi and it's not gone down well with viewers.

After five weeks in prison and having an electric tag, the Irish model admitted on the TV show that he "misses and loves" his son Caben, who he hasn't seen for eight months.

After the TV host asked Jeremy how he felt looking at a picture of himself with his son, the 28-year-old dad admitted: "It's sad because I look at him and think that's the link to my mum and dad.

"My mum and dad passed away and that's my little boy."

He went on to reveal that he never wanted a "broken relationship" with the mother of his child but following their turbulent time together, they split.

The reality star has previously opened up and revealed he lost his mum, brother and sister all within 15 months. Then last year just weeks after his aunt died, his dad also passed away.

After Jeremy was found guilty of attacking Steph, he was handed a three-year restraining order against her. On the ITV show, the dad-of-one explained that's he's now making "the correct moves" so that he can see and provide for his son.

"I think the best way to do it is kind of get out of this game. I know my careers’ over on TV," he explained.

"No one’s going to touch me with a ten-foot pole. My name's been tarnished and I accept that."

During his time on the show, he admitted that he was unfaithful towards Steph: "I done my time, I've done my punishment.

"Paranoia, accusations, drinking, drugs, assault, emotionally blackmailing."

On the show, Jeremy Kyle branded the dad as "violent" and a "woman beater" and lots of fans slammed the reality star, with one person writing: "Jeremy McConnell has always been the perfect #JeremyKyle - he's a drug addict, never worked, sleeps with anything, turned his back on his kid and has no respect"

Someone else said: "Jeremy McConnell on Jeremy Kyle show NEW LOW the show is def on its way out 👎 "

Another commented: "Jeremy McConnell on #JeremyKyle no sympathy for this waste of skin. Not worked a day in his life, a man child, woman beater, coke head who wants fame and the pity when he screws up again and again."

A fourth wrote: "Jeremy McConnell is an actual embarrassment"

One more added: "Have no time and couldn't care less about what Jeremy McConnell gets up to #JeremyMcConnell his relationship with ex Steph Davis sounds like it was poison"
