He has previously referred to his brood of six as a “small army”, and it could be set to grow after multiple reports surfaced last week suggesting Brad Pitt’s ex-girlfriend – German model Nicole Poturalski – is pregnant.

One claim suggested that Nicole, 28 – who reportedly has an open marriage with 68-year-old restaurant owner Roland Mary, dad of her seven-year-old son Emil – is five months pregnant.

She and Brad first sparked romance rumours six months ago, when they were snapped arriving at Chateau Miraval – the French estate he still co-owns with his estranged wife, Angelina Jolie, 45.

And pregnancy rumours mounted further when Nicole – who split from Brad in October – sported what many fans thought could be a baby bump in a snap she posted on Instagram.

Neither Brad nor Nicole had publicly addressed the pregnancy rumours as Closer went to press, though additional reports have claimed that “Brad refuses to believe he’s the father”.

Insiders say his ex-wife, former Friends star Jennifer Aniston – with whom he has grown close since his 2016 split from Angelina – has been rattled by the bombshell rumours.

A source says, “Jen’s felt a sense of sadness, which took her by surprise as she admitted she may not have felt that way if there was talk about another friend having a baby with an ex.

“Even if it’s true, she admits Brad won’t have done anything wrong by her, given they’re just friends. But pals wouldn’t be surprised if this drama pushes her into reassessing the boundaries of their friendship. It’s likely to be a case of her taking a step back and reminding herself to be aware of the blurred lines that can occur when you’re friends with an ex – especially one you share such a strong history with.”

Hollywood’s golden couple broke hearts around the world when they called time on their five-year marriage in 2005, amid reports Brad fell for Angelina on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith.

Jen – who turns 52 this week – candidly opened up about her ex’s relationship with Angelina, after the pair confirmed their romance following her divorce from Brad. “The world was shocked, and I was shocked,” she said. She later added, “Brad is not mean-spirited; he would never intentionally try to rub something in my face. There’s a sensitivity chip that’s missing.”

Following Brad and Angelina’s split, he and Jen gave fans a glimmer of hope amid reports they had reconnected, which was finally confirmed when Brad attended her 50th birthday bash, following the breakdown of her second marriage to Justin Theroux, 49, months earlier.

A few weeks later, fans went into a frenzy when snaps of the couple warmly embracing backstage at the SAG Awards went viral. The source says, “Jen and Brad have become incredibly close over the last few years. They share many interests and passions and Jen’s helped Brad get into meditation and mindfulness to help ease his anxiety. Pre-COVID, they’d occasionally hang out with their dogs, too.
