She’s been down the aisle twice but has been single since her marriage to Justin Theroux ended five years ago – now it seems single Jennifer Aniston is being helped in her search for love by two close pals.
According to insiders, Jennifer has teamed up with fellow A-listers Demi Moore and Sandra Bullock to help
her find Mr Right.
A source says, “Jen has high hopes that her run of bad luck in love is just a temporary thing. It’s a sign of the times that it takes a whole lot more time and selectiveness to find a partner in Hollywood these days.
“Jen and Demi are trading ideas on eligible guys, male pals in their shared social circle, as well as dinner parties and functions they can hit up together. It’s a fun process and they’re excited to be in it together.”
Jennifer, 54 – who revealed last week that friend Adam Sandler has teased her in the past about her bad choice of partners – was previously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005, before finding love again with actor/director Justin in 2011. They wed in August 2015 but separated two years later.
She hasn’t dated anyone publicly since – although she was linked to her The Morning Show co-star Jon Hamm, who recently got engaged. But she confessed in an interview last year that she’d be keen to meet someone new.
“I’d love a relationship. Who knows?” she said. “There are moments I want to just crawl up in a ball and say, ‘I need support’.”
Jen has been pals with Ghost actress Demi, 60, for years, and attended her 50th birthday bash. It was reported Jen counselled Demi after her bitter split from ex Ashton Kutcher. Demi has been married three times, to Freddy Moore, Bruce Willis – who last month was diagnosed with dementia – and Ashton. In July 2020, almost seven years after her divorce from Ashton was finalised, she opened up about her marriages, saying, “For me, I had changed myself so many times over and over to fit what I thought somebody else wanted.”
While she’s not publicly dating anyone, Demi still remains close to ex Bruce, and celebrated his birthday with him, their daughters and Bruce’s wife earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Sandra, 58, has known Jen since the ’90s when they were introduced by actor Tate Donovan, who had dated them both. She’s been with photographer Bryan Randall since mid-2015. Last year, she announced a break from acting to focus on her personal life, saying, “I just want to be 24/7 with my babies [Louis, 13, and Laila, 10, who she adopted with ex-husband Jesse James] and my family.”
And insiders add that Demi and Sandra have been helping Jennifer maintain a positive outlook on her romantic future.
“Jen’s talking about finally signing up to a dating app,” the source says. “She knows what type of man she wants and feels confident that having her dating squad will help her and give her the boost she needs.”
