Jeff Brazier admits lockdown has helped marriage struggles

Dad of two Jeff Brazier has opened up about the effect that lockdown is having on his marriage, after revealing last year that he and wife Kate Dwyer were having difficulties.

Jeff, who is dad to sons Bobby and Freddie from his previous relationship with the late Jade Goody, shared a photo of the two of them having a cuddle and said, “What a test this is for people’s relationships! I’ve really enjoyed having the wife around because we clearly make a great team."

He went on to say, “We’ve reorganised the house from top to bottom, taken the time to binge on Netflix (Ozark) and continue to help each other stay positive and focused in these slightly strange days of isolation.

“That said she’s just given me 2 jobs to do so if I sit around writing this post much longer I’m sure she’ll add another…”

Last year, Jeff admitted that his marriage was “on the rocks”, saying, “I had thought when we got married we'd go straight in on starting a family, but there's seems to have been a change of heart about that, and a need for a little more time before those decisions are made.”

“Being married makes you feel more settled, but life doesn't feel much different because Kate has a wonderful career in PR where she works very hard and long hours, so it's still just me and the boys at home a fair bit.”

Fans of the pair took to the comments to express their delight that they were back on track, with one writing, “Aww it's so lovely to see you both together. I think if any marriage/relationship can survive this strange time, then it can last forever! Xxx”
