Emmerdale actress Isabel Hodgins, who plays Victoria Sugden on the soap, has taken the opportunity to cheer everyone up from isolation with a hilarious throwback picture where she bears more than a passing resemblance to a much loved children character.
Over Christmas, Isobel went from a deep brunette to an icy blonde, but it wasn’t exactly smooth sailing.
Taking to her Instagram to share a snap from halfway through her recent image overhaul, Isabel wrote, "If anyone wants to go from brown to blonde, just know there will be a time, before the toner, where you look like Big Bird."

Isabel isn’t shy of a major hair transformation, last year cutting her long hair into a fashion forward pixie crop as her character Victoria dealt with the aftermath of a traumatic rape.
Some commenters on the post harked back to a time before she went for the chop, with one writing, “I loved your long hair on Emmerdale grow it back haha.”
Another agreed, “With you there. Think her hair was much nicer long” – but one more preferred the crop, writing, “No please keep it short it suits you so much.”
