Jeff Brazier admits his children with Jade Goody astonish him
Jeff Brazier has admitted his children have recently suffered through a 'cruel blow' following the anniversary of their mother's death.
In 2009 Jade Goody passed away after she lost her battle to cervical cancer. The reality star left behind her two sons Freddie, 12 and Bobby, 13 and her husband Jack Tweed. Last week was the 8th anniversary of Jade's death and her widower Jack Tweed payed an emotional tribute to her on Instagram.
March is a sad time for Bobby and Freddie as it's both the anniversary of their mums death and Mother's Day. Jade's ex-boyfriend and the father of her children Jeff has revealed last week was a 'cruel blow' for the boys.
On Twitter he wrote: "Glad last week's over. I try & reduce the impact but having Jades anniversary & Mother's Day in the same week is a cruel blow for the boys."
He then wrote: "#Grateful for the boys mood brightening up today now a difficult week's behind them. Time & time again they astound me with their resilience"
Many of his followers tweeted their support. One person wrote: "You're an incredible dad! The boys are such lovely young lads and Jade will be so proud xx"
Someone else said: "I always think of you guys and Jade on Mother's Day. X"
Another commented: "God bless you and your family... You are doing an amazing job. May Jade rest in peace."
A fourth person added: "You're a diamond, great daddy and Jade would be so proud of you xx"
Jeff has since found love again and is currently in a relationship with Kate Dwyer. Following Jade's death she brought an incredibly amount of awareness of cervical cancer and there has since been a huge increase in women taking smear tests.
