Singer James Arthur has gone under the knife to straighten his nose.
He revealed he was going for the surgery yesterday during a Twitter Q&A session, when one fan asked: "What are you doing right now?"
He replied: "I'm in hospital waiting to get my nose broke back into place."
Sounds painful!
James then posted a pic on Instagram of his face in bandages post-surgery. He explained the reason behind the surgery in the caption, writing: "Stay outta trouble kids.. Just had my nose put straight after many years of it being on one side of my face due to one to many scuffles as a teen."
But James' surgery wasn't purely for cosmetic reasons - it was causing him discomfort too.
He also reckons that the surgery will allow him to sing better now too.
The X Factor 2012 winner spoke to The Sun before the op: "I do have to get an operation on my nose. It's bent and it is causing congestion.
"They are going to break it and put it back in place. It's all my years of fighting – too much fighting as a young guy.
"I've been punched in the nose too many times. I've been putting off the operation."
James has also had veneers to straighten out his smile.
