She broke down in tears as a love letter from Dan Osborne, her husband of two years and the father of her two daughters, was read out to her on I’m A Celeb!, in which he declared, “My days just aren’t complete without you in them.”
At the time, Jacqueline Jossa was unaware of the sordid sex scandal that was awaiting her upon her departure from the jungle.
Last week, former TOWIE star Dan, 28, was embroiled in claims he had a threesome with his Celebrity Big Brother co-stars Chloe Ayling and Natalie Nunn in January– something he denies – revealing he was seeking legal advice, and accusing Chloe of having “no morals”.
In an interview with a newspaper, former kidnapping victim Chloe, 21, said, “Dan cheated on Jacqueline with me and Natalie. We’d all had a lot to drink, and a threesome happened… After it happened, Dan was full of himself. He didn’t seem to care what had just happened.” She added that Dan was “making a fool of Jacqueline.” Natalie, 34, declined to comment.
The day after the alleged incident, Jacqueline had shared a picture of Dan on Instagram saying, “It’s so good to have this man back, I love you always.”
Insiders tell Closer that pals of former EastEnders actress Jacqueline, 27 – who left the soap last year– wouldn’t be surprised if she’s both heartbroken and furious that the allegations have stolen the spotlight from her time on the show.

A source says, “I’m A Celeb! was Jacqueline’s moment to shine. It was the first big job she’d had since EastEnders, and she wanted to show everyone who she was. Her pals believe she’ll be furious that it’s been overshadowed by speculation about her marriage – she’s sick of all these stories. It’s humiliating to have everyone discuss her marriage.”
Insiders also reveal that the accusations have caused tension in reality star Natalie’s seven-year marriage to American footballer, Jacob Payne.
A source says, “Natalie has been deeply affected by the reports, she’s desperately trying to save her marriage. In April, Dan texted her asking to meet up while she was in LA. Her husband saw the messages, and when the claims surfaced last week, it pushed things over the edge and he left. It’s caused serious tension within the relationship.”

Meanwhile, in her first week in the jungle, Jacqueline’s campmate Myles Stephenson reportedly took Jacqueline aside to claim Dan had a fling with Gabby Allen, 26, behind Jacqueline’s back while she was pregnant – something they have both previously denied.
The relationship has been tested a number of times – earlier this year, reports claimed that Dan had kissed Love Island star Alexandra Cane on a night out, which he denied. And the couple were thought to have split in May 2018, after Jacqueline messaged a woman on Twitter to ask if she’d slept with Dan.
Last week, Jacqueline’s cousin Ciara Asherwood revealed that she thought Jacqueline would be “upset” by Myles’ claims about Dan and Gabby.
She told Closer, “Dan is her husband, and he’s the main person she’s going to talk to and believe. She’ll be fine until she speaks to Dan. It’s really unfair, and I think she’ll be upset. It’s upsetting for the family to see it’s been taken away from something she’s doing for herself.”
