Pregnant Jennifer Metcalfe reveals she has “emotional moments” on set with mum-to-be Chelsee Healey

Hollyoaks actresses Jennifer Metcalfe and Chelsee Healey are due to give birth this year

There seems to be a baby boom this year with lots of celebrities announcing they're pregnant this year and that includes Hollyoaks' Jennifer Metcalfe, who plays Mercedes McQueen and Chelsee Healey, who plays Goldie McQueen.

The yummy mummies – who are expecting their first child - seem to be pretty close off set as they share pregnancy tips with each other. Jennifer explained in an interview with Channel 4: "We have a little chat now and again, we're as bad as each other though.

"She's got the same attitude as me, we're both going to take it in our stride and see how it goes each day."

She continued: "The odd time one of us will find something out that the other one doesn't know we'll help each other out, we've had some emotional moments, it doesn't take much."

Aww.

The 34-year-old actress who is expecting her first child with her long-term partner Greg Lake added she plans to meet up Chelsee after they've both given birth. She told the publication: "It's quite nice really because we're both going 'What the hell is going on?'.

"I'm going to be in Newcastle for maternity leave and Chelsee will be in Manchester, but we're hoping to meet up when the babies are here for a play date."

Chelsee, who is expecting her little one with her boyfriend Jack Malloy, opened up about the emotional moment she found out she was pregnant: "When I saw the test was positive I started crying, but they were happy tears.

"It wasn't something we'd planned but now we are having a baby we couldn't be happier."

Jack her partner who spent time in prison for dangerous driving, added: "It was definitely a shock but I was over the moon when she told me. I think it's still sinking in, I can't wait to be a dad."

We can't wait to see the little one.
