Over the years, she’s carved out a bubbly, girl-next-door image, co-hosting This Morning alongside her BFF Phillip Schofield.
But mum-of-three Holly Willoughby lives a very different life to the one her fans might expect.
And, opening up in her new book Reflections, she confesses that the pressure to keep up with her seemingly “perfect life” had previously left her feeling “numbed and a bit adrift”.

She also said she felt the need to filter some of herself in order to preserve a positive public image, writing, “To fit in with other people’s expectations of me, I have ended up simplifying myself and swallowing my voice so that I stay in the pigeonhole I’m expected to sit in. This can mean watering myself down.”
Contrary to her “good girl” image, friends have previously spoken about their “wild nights” with the presenter.
Her pal Kelly Brook said, “Holly would out drink Snoop [Dogg], no question. She’s good fun on a night out”, while Piers Morgan said, “She’s like a female version of all the members of [hard-partying rock group] Led Zeppelin combined.”

Cheeky ciggies
She’s notorious for partying with her co-stars – and Holly’s also sometimes partial to having a smoke while she drinks!
In 2013, she was spotted puffing on a cigarette while sipping Prosecco during a lunch date with her friend, Made In Chelsea star Francis Boulle.
Another time, she was pictured with a ciggie while partying at V Festival in Chelmsford.
Although it is not known whether she’s now quit, the TV host gasped in horror when interviewing a gynaecologist on the show in 2019, who advised that smoking can bring on early menopause. Holly replied, “Is that right? That’s horrific!”
She’s also a fan of an all-nighter. Holly and Phil are famous for their boozing at the annual National Television Awards – even heading straight to the This Morning studios in their glamorous outfits after partying through the night.

Fiery temper
She and husband Dan Baldwin, 46, seem to have a picture-perfect marriage but, as Closer reported last week, she admits that sometimes they have blazing rows.
Married for 14 years and parents to three children – Harry, 12, Belle, 10, and Chester, seven – Holly says, since being on a “journey of self-discovery” in recent years, rows have helped her marriage to remain solid.
Earlier this month, she said, “I love anger… I never used to, but what I’ve found is that, a lot of the time, we like to stay in the safe middle ground, where everything is nice and smiley and nothing is ugly.
“Talking through your problems can take you months or weeks, but in a hot flash of anger, you’ll shout something and rip the band-aid off. You don’t have to be afraid of it or be scared by it.”
In Reflections, she gave an account of these rages, saying, “If I’m watching something on TV and my husband suddenly asks, ‘Why are you watching this s--t?’ it’ll spark something deep inside and I will get disproportionately angry about it.”
Slobbing around at home
Her lucrative partnership deals with brands such as Marks & Spencer and Garnier reportedly earn her £30k a week – but despite being a beauty and style icon, she insists that she’s a bit lazy outside of work.
Chatting to her friend Amanda Holden during a radio interview last week, she said, “I’m an absolute slob! I get in [to the house], take the heels off, I lie on the sofa.”
During lockdown, Holly gave fans on social media a glimpse of her home life – uploading images of her baking cakes with the kids, tending to her garden, and spending time with the family cat, Bluebell.
But despite her homely image, she has previously said, “I am such a slob at the weekend. It’s hair back, no make-up. I just can’t be bothered.”

Saucy sex games
Despite admitting to rows with her hubby, Holly has also shared some of their bedroom kinks.
Earlier this month, she said of TV producer Dan, “I still fancy him... I do enjoy saucy games with my hubby.”
It’s not the first time she’s spoken about her sexual side, saying previously, “I love wearing new shoes during sex – and not just because it’s kinky. I have found the best way to break in new shoes is to wear them during sex. I always wear them in the bedroom – during the sex act – before I take them outside.”
She was also a fan favourite on Keith Lemon’s naughty nighttime show Celebrity Juice – where she once seductively ate a banana – as well as discussing taboo topics like bondage and vibrators on This Morning.
