Holly Willoughbywas left visibly upset when a viewer emailed into This Morning to lament that people were pooing outside in the countryside where she lived.
The sender, named Cheryl, told Holly and her co-hosts Phillip Schofield and Vanessa Feltz that after some lockdown measures were lifted people had been visiting the Kent countryside for walks, but had been using the toilet outside, making the area unpleasant for locals.
Reading Cheryl’s message, Holly said, “I can barely bear to read this.
"’After a bike ride this morning my friend found and smelt so much human excrement and rubbish.
"’I cannot do light exercise near our home due to the stench. How is this fair?’"

Giving her own take on the matter, Holly continued, “Don’t. Just don't do that. I just don’t understand that.
“You can't do that. There are families down there. Are you saying to your kids it's alright to go and have a poo behind the hedge?"
It comes after Holly shared snaps of how her own family were coping in lockdown as her son Harry celebrated his birthday while stuck at home.
