Holly Willoughby and Dan Baldwin will celebrate their ten-year wedding anniversary this summer
Holly Willoughby is usually very quiet with her family life but she's now opened up on how she deals with arguments with her husband Dan Baldwin.
Holly and Dan have been married for nearly ten years now, they tied the knot back in 2007 but just like every other couple they row. The This Morning presenter recently opened about how she deals with having an argument with her husband and her technique is pretty surprising.
Unlike some people who might want to sort things out, or others who may continue to row until their partner backs down, Holly admitted that she'll sleep on the argument instead.
On the daytime television show while they were discussing whether it's OK for couples to sleep on an argument, Holly what she does in the scenario: "Sometimes I just need to have more of a level head, so I just go off and calm down a bit.
"I just need that bit of space. I wake up the following morning and things don't seem as bad."
She added: "Sometimes you've just rationalized things a bit better in your head, and you're not so emotional and quick to snipe and shout."
Holly and Dan have three children together - Harry, eight, Belle, six and Chester, two - and they were recently criticized by neighbours for hanging a Union flag outside their house.
One of the locals who didn't think it was "becoming of the area," told the Mirror: "We don’t hang the Union Jack or St George flag outside our properties, so why should she?
"The house is one of the oldest in the neighborhood, and has a prominent tower. It’s never had a Union Jack on it before."
