She’s had a tumultuous few years which saw her step away from the spotlight and scale back her work commitments. And now insiders say that Holly Willoughby has been mulling over the idea of having a fourth baby.
A source reveals, ‘Despite reports that Holly had given up on the idea of another baby, it appears with all the rooms to fill in their stunning new home, she has already pegged a designer nursery. She’s 44 this year and has told pals if a baby happens, then so be it. She also confided that her husband, Dan [Baldwin], would also love one more.’
Holly – who is mum to Harry, 15, Belle, 13, and Chester, 10, with producer Dan – has been laser-focused on family after a series of ordeals. Her bitter feud with former BFF Phillip Schofield in May 2023 – following his confession of lying about an ‘unwise but not illegal’ affair with a younger ITV employee – saw her step down from This Morning five months later after 14 years at the helm.
The shock career move came amid the chilling news of a kidnap, rape and murder plot against her – a heinous crime that saw stalker Gavin Plumb sentenced to life imprisonment last July.
The TV presenter – who reportedly moved house with her family in the wake of Plumb’s conviction – has previously voiced hopes to add to her brood, saying in 2018, ‘I’m always broody. Part of me wants another baby but part of me thinks that’s not a good enough reason!’
Our insider adds, ‘Holly loves her routine, but if she fell pregnant, she would be delighted. Her children may have been out of nappies for a long time, but she adores babies. She’s been broody for ages and has an open view to nature taking its course.’
The mum of three has previously weighed in on the ageing process, admitting, ‘When you hit your 40s, things change quite rapidly, actually. We are heading towards that kind of menopausal time, skin is changing, hair is changing, your body’s changing – even having had a baby, the shape of your body completely changes.’
And a source says that Holly has been influenced by women who have had children later on in life.
The insider reveals, ‘Other older celebrity mums, like Tana Ramsey, who gave birth when she was 49 to her son Jesse, have really inspired her. Holly thinks older mums are cool – and she reckons she’d rock a bump!’
