George Clooney visited superfan Pat Adams in her Reading care home on her 87th birthday

We bet it's not often that your find yourself insanely jealous of an 87-year-old lady.

But you will after reading this.

Thanks to the staff at the care home she currently resides in, gorgeous George Clooney kindly paid a visit to Pat Adams on her 87th birthday on Sunday.

Yep, we know. Deep breaths, everybody.

Staff at the Sunrise Senior Living of Sonning care home in Reading contacted George, who lives nearby to the care home, as part of their Wish Upon A Star initiative, sending him various letters and a newsletter.

But they were all in shock when he actually turned up with a bouquet of flowers and a birthday card.

Linda Jones, who works at the care home, posted a photo of herself and Pat with the 55-year-old actor, who is expecting twins with his 39-year-old international lawyer wife Amal, with the caption: "The lady in the picture loves George Clooney and mentions every day how she would love him to meet him, especially as he lives so near to where I work.

"So letters have been sent asking would it be possible for her dream to come true. And what was extra special it was her birthday in the week."

Malcolm Hague, a manager at the care home, spoke to MailOnline: "We are so delighted that Pat's wish came true. She was absolutely thrilled to meet her great icon, and it was such a lovely surprise to see George greet her with flowers and a card.

"This was a classy gesture from a wonderful man, and it has brought smiles to everyone. Huge thank you to George."

How cute! What an absolute gent.
