Kate Wright and Rio Ferdinand have been dating since the beginning of the year and last week Kate announced she would be avoiding the spotlight to become a full-time step-mum to the former footballer's children.
The pretty blonde told the The Sun Online: “I’m taking a step back from the public eye, I want to keep my life private as I lived my previous relationship on Towie, my priority right now is Rio and the family.”
And while we've seen plenty of pictures of the ex-TOWIE starlet enjoying time with Rio's family (she even joined them on holiday), we were yet to see Rio do the same with the Wrights.
But it seems he's well in with his girlfriend's family as he was in attendance at the birthday celebrations for Kate's mum last night.
Kate's TOWIE cast mate Mike Hassini posted a group shot to his Instagram account and captioned the shot: "Family night out for @jacquelinewrightx birthday hope you had a good one 😘 xx"
Kate also took to the social media site to share a picture from the happy occasion. She wrote: "Happy birthday to my mummy, I love you so much, thank you for everything 💕"
Kate is Rio's first romantic interest since the tragic death in 2015 of his wife Rebecca at the age of just 34.
We wish Kate and Rio all the best! And Happy Birthday to Jacqueline too!
