Former TOWIE star Maria Fowler has revealed her torment at the hands of a sinister internet troll.
Police are now investigating after Maria showed them chilling messages, sent by an anonymous individual.
Speaking about the incident earlier today, Maria, 27, spoke of her fear over the vile messages.
“It’s an absolute nightmare to receive something like that. I was sent the message which said there is a bomb outside your house and that I should watch out because I will be raped,” she told a newspaper.

“I live on my own so to be threatened with rape is terrible. If it is a stalker then generally they are people you know but this is just a weirdo.”
By talking about her experience, Maria – who started up her own line of spray tanning products – hopes to encourage others to report abuse online.
She said: “I thought about not going away but then if I hadn’t that would have meant they had won.”

“My message to them is simple. Posting these threats can have serious implications for people.”
A spokesperson for the police confirmed her complaints and are believed to be investigating the matter.
