Former TOWIE star Ferne McCann welcomed her baby daughter, Sunday, in November and while she has been taking to Instagram to update fans with beautiful photos, it has been reported that her family and friends are concerned for her.

The 27-year-old is preparing for her first Christmas as a single mum, but an insider has told The Sun that those closest to her are worried about her dramatic weight loss and inability to sleep.

A source told the paper: "Ferne is being supported by all of her close friends including Danielle Armstrong, Billie Faiers and Vicky Pattison.

“Mario Falcone has been spending a lot of time with her. As well as Gemma Collins and James Argent.

“People are worried about her because she’s not been sleeping and she’s lost a lot of weight.

“Everyone is supporting her as best they can and they’re all rallying around her."

Ferne has been open about her struggles this year. Her ex-boyfriend and Sunday's father, Arthur Collins, was sentenced to twenty years in prison for an acid attack in a London nightclub earlier this year.

However, ITV presenter has dedicated herself to bringing up her daughter as a single mum, and has admitted that she worries about telling Sunday who her father is when she grows up.

She told Fabulous magazine: "It does enter my mind, and I find that quite difficult. I do wonder how difficult it’s going to be.

"But I need to enjoy her for now, because what’s the point in thinking say, four years ahead? I’m going to be in a complete different mind space.

"I’m probably not going to be living in the same place, who knows. Life is so uncertain – I can’t plan how I’m going to do that when I’m nowhere near that point."

Since announcing that she was having a baby, Ferne has been working on a new TV show, First Time Mum, but it is allegedly causing problems between her and her childhood friend and former TOWIE co-star, Sam Faiers.
