They were pals on TOWIE but over the past few months it seems that Ferne McCann and Sam Faiers have drifted apart

Ferne McCann has finally spoken out about her 'feud' with her former co-star Sam Faiers and revealed that they didn't fall out over her ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins.

Rumours that the TOWIE stars fell out began shortly after Ferne revealed she's pregnant, reports surfaced that Sam "turned her back" on the mum-of-one, with a source telling heat! magazine: "When Ferne revealed she was pregnant, Sam sent her these supportive messages but when it came to meeting up, she kept making her excuses.

"When she didn’t say anything about Ferne’s pregnancy or her This Morning interview in public, things came to a head. Basically it seems like Sam’s worried about her image and career."

Following the reports Sam shared a photo of herself and Ferne and wrote alongside the image: "Birthday Celebrations 🎉 #BirthdayPrincess #BabyMummas #Friends #Love @fernemccann x"

Just when we all thought everything was great between the pair fans questioned why Sam announced her daughter's name on the same day as Ferne's TV show. To make matters worse, it was then reported that the mum-of-two warned her friend to "break things off" with Arthur Collins before the acid attack.

It was recently reported that TV producers want Ferne to visit Arthur in prison for her new show and now the 27-year-old reality star has not only spoken out about the rumours but she's also responded to all the hype around her friendship with Sam.

On Twitter, she wrote: "Regarding today’s many FALSE stories about me (and sorry to bore you all)…

"For the record (again) I am not in a relationship with Arthur. I do not know how much clearer I could be about that!! Sam and I never fell out about Arthur! This is false."

She went on to say: "Arthur is Sunday’s father. I have had to communicate with him and his family with respect to Sunday (mainly through lawyers).

"Todays 'sources’ are wrong. Much love Ferne."

It seems that she hasn't actually denied that they've fallen out and a few of her fans picked up on it, with one person tweeting: "Why did u 2 fall out then?! Seems such a shame since u been childhood friends and now have baby girls not even a month apart"

Another commented: "They both unfollowed on insta and they refuse to answer Qs about each other in interviews"

Someone else said: "Have you fallen out though?"

A fourth wrote: "If she fell out with you for having your own show then she needs to get a grip! Never liked her! Not genuine at all! Whereas you always come across so well and down to earth! Loved watching your show ❤️ "
