Ferne McCann shares beautiful photos from her unborn baby’s nursery

She has been busy preparing for the birth of her first child

Since announcing that she was pregnant with her first child back in April, Ferne McCann has been very busy preparing herself for life as a new mum.

The presenter and reality TV star took to Instagram to share some very cute snaps with her 1.8 million followers, giving them an insight into her unborn child’s nursery – and fans were blown away by how cute and stylish it looks!

Talking about her colour scheme, Ferne admitted that she had chosen greys to “keep it gender neutral”. The nursery is filled with everything a tiny tot could want, from knitted pom pom blankets, a wooden rocking horse, a knitted bunny and crochet Bambi, and a lovely wooden toy chest and alphabet blocks.

Fans were quick to comment, telling Ferne: “Such a cute nursery!”

Another quipped: “Enjoy it staying that nice while it last as bub won't keep his or hers room so tidy!”

The 27-year-old former The Only Way Is Essex star has spoken candidly about how she plans to raise her child on her own following her split from the unborn child’s father, Arthur Collins, who was accused of throwing acid into a crowd of clubbers at a London nightclub earlier this year.

While her ex is currently on trial facing charges of GBH and ABH, this month Ferne told *OK! *magazine the she doesn’t want to be branded a ‘single mum,’ explaining: “I’m being strong because I have to think about my baby. The whole process of being pregnant has made me a much stronger person.”

Ferne continued: “I don’t like the term single mum and I don’t want to be addressed as that because I don’t think you should be labelled.

“To me, I’m going to be a mum like anyone else, but just in a different situation. It shouldn’t define you. 'I’ve not felt alone or been alone once during this pregnancy.

“But yes, I have done this whole pregnancy on my own, but at the same time I’m so not alone – I’ve got such a great support network with my mum, sister and friends."

As Ferne’s due date edges closer, we can’t wait to meet the little one!
