Tom Fletcher has been slammed by fans for going to the cinema with his son when they are both ill.
Earlier this week Giovanna Fletcher posted a photo on Instagram with a long caption that explained Tom, Buzz and herself are "not very well."
Tom was already feeling "poorly" and then throughout the eventful night Buzz was sick twice and was soon followed by Giovanna throwing up. The mum-of-two ended the caption with "The Fletchers are not very well."
Bless them.
The McFly singer has since uploaded an adorable photo of himself and Buzz in the cinema with the caption: "We're both sick so we're having a father/son trip to the cinema to cheer ourselves up."
However, some of Tom's 1.4million followers were outraged that they went to the cinema when they're both sick. One person wrote: "Fair enough if it's a cold, but going to the cinema with a sickness bug (even if it's 1am) isn't exactly the best thing to do. 48hr rule!!! Get well soon and take care xxx"
Someone else said: "Common cold fair enough but something as contagious as a sickness bug is pretty selfish to go to the cinema where other small children could be. My son has been off school4 days due to a nasty cough cold. I'd hate that he'd spread it. Get well and stay in the warm x"
One of Tom's followers commented: "So in other words you're going to make other people sick."
Another person simply wrote: "Irresponsible!"
Someone else said: " No way!!! I'm sorry but that's selfish! You have a sick bug!! Stay at home for 48 hrs!"
Although a few people defended Tom's decision and didn't see what the fuss was about. One person argued: "Oh please. I don't really comment on things like this, but I feel the need. There are already thousands of germs and bugs out there... I'm guessing it's a cold, which millions of people already have and are spreading, like Tom and son are going to infect people!"
Another person wrote: "Honestly people, get some perspective. His son may have been puking as a one off. He is 2 and in need of distraction. The cinema is a great idea for this. Relax!! Hope the Fletchers are feeling better."
Someone else commented: "Hahaha 48hour rule isn't a law, It's a school rule. You can dodge a bug. It's in the air. Can't stand parents who are OTT. If your child has a bad immune system… stay in yourself. Stop judging other parents and look at yourself crying over a bug."
Another wrote: "Jeez guys, unless you're going to the cinema and you're going to be sat right next to them don't worry about them.... Tom and Gi are responsible parents and little children bounce back, Buzz doesn't exactly look ill! I am more gobsmacked at the price of that ticket!!"
