Mariah Carey has reunited with her ex-husband Nick Cannon... for a family photo.
In the picture the singer can be looking happy as television host Nick shows off his beaming smile while they pose with children Moroccan and Monroe, age five, and Nick’s mother Beth Gardner.
Posting the picture on Instagram, Nick wrote: “Family Dinner!! All is well! Live! Love! Laugh! @mariahcarey #Ncredible.”
But fans were quick to comment that they wished the couple would reunite for good.
One person wrote: “Can you guys get back together now?”
While another responded: “I wish y’all stop playing and get back together.”
And we have to say, so do we!
Mariah and Nick originally met when the singer shot her music video for her song Bye Bye on an island off the coast of Antigua.
They married on April 30 in 2008 and Mariah gave birth to their twins on April 30 2011 but the pair separated in 2014 and Nick filed for divorce in December that year.
Mariah, who was previously married to music executive Tommy Mottle from 1993 to 1998, has previously spoken of her disappointment that her marriage to Nick did not work out.
She told Complex magazine: “I never thought I would have babies with someone and then get divorced. Like, ‘Oh, great job. Repeat your past.’
“But life happens and it was supposed to happen. It’s fine. For (my children), I wish it hadn’t happened that way. For me, it was… Guess it’s over. Call it a day.”
