EastEnders legend Adam Woodyatt has revealed he’s living in a motorhome following his split from wife Beverley Sharp after over 20 years of marriage.
The veteran soap actor, who has played Ian Beale for 36 years, bought the four-wheeled home to stay in while touring the country with play Looking Good Dead but decided to move in early after the start date was delayed until July due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Adam has been staying in the motorhome in a Devon field while on a break from EastEnders and admitted he’s “loving” it.
“I am loving my break, I’m having a ball. I’m getting ready for the tour which was supposed to have started in January, then it was supposed to start in April and then it was supposed to start in June - it keeps getting knocked back.
“But basically I’m in a motorhome,” he told The Sun.

Adam added, “I’ve got a motorhome ready for the tour so I won’t have to worry about staying in hotels or anything like that.
“But I’ve taken advantage of it and I’m currently in a field in Devon.”
The actor also recently shocked fans by debuting a beardy new look on Instagram. After he shared snaps of him sporting grey facial hair while on a bike ride through Manchester, one of Adam’s followers wrote, “Wouldn’t recognise you 🙌.”
Another commented, “Loving the salt and pepper beard… Really suits you 👍🏼.”

It was reported earlier this year that Adam’s divorce from Beverley, his wife of two decades, has “turned toxic” after they separated in 2019.
It’s claimed that relations between the former couple have broken down as she feels he isn’t giving her a “fair deal”.
“Despite what he’s saying publicly, she’s had to get lawyers involved to fight her corner,” a source told the same publication.
“The feeling is he’s not offering Bev a fair deal."
They added, “The pair don’t seem close to reaching an agreement. It’s very sad as they were a great team and she was even his agent for more than a decade.”
