Eamonn Holmes has revealed on This Morning why he doesn't want his wife Ruth Langsford to win Strictly Come Dancing
Eamonn Holmes has admitted he’ll be far from disappointed if Ruth is one of the first celebs to be booted off the Strictly Come Dancing dancefloor!
“The sooner you go out, the sooner our lives go back to normal so it’s not necessarily a bad thing,” he told her.
The comment was an attempt to make Ruth feel better after she was given odds of just 66-1 to win the 15th series.

“You just want to get back to the football! You’re worried about that aren’t you?” Ruth said to her husband, who is devoted Manchester United fan.
“Well, I wouldn’t want it to go on too long put it that way,” he replied. “Maybe not the first week out but the second week out maybe.”
Ruth and her fellow contestants, including The Saturday’s Mollie King and soap star Gemma Atkinson, have been training for weeks to dazzle with their waltzes, jives and fox trots.
The popular show is back on our screens next month, with the first edition revealing which professional dancers the celebs will be paired up with.
The sequin-clad celebs will be aiming to keep their place till December in the hope of nabbing the glitterball trophy as an early Christmas present.
Despite her husband being keen for their lives to “go back to normal”, Ruth, 57, said she hopes to be on the show as long as possible as she’s “in it to win it”.
However, Eamonn is among those who don’t rate her chances.
“That is what is called a miracle, don’t be ridiculous!” he joked.
