Donna Air alerts police and offers reward after Dancing On Ice skates are stolen

Donna Air is offering a reward after her Dancing On Ice skates were stolen.

The television presenter has publicly appealed for help and has even alerted the Metropolitan Police on social media.

The star had the skates specially made for the contest and has CCTV footage of them being taken from her car last night.

Alerting the police, she tweeted: “@metpoliceuk please contact me we have clear CCTV footage of my theft and the culprits stealing my possessions and @dancingonice skates!!”

She added: “@metpoliceuk reward for anyone who FINDS my skates. I’m sure the thief would have dumped them somewhere as of no use to anyone but me! Moulded to my feet and impossible to replace for Sunday.”

Media personality Donna spent two hours searching for her possessions last night but was unable to find them.

Her fellow DOI contestant Jake Quickeneden also got involved, posting a video on Twitter and writing: “Please help @donnaair and (professional skater) @Mark_Hanretty some Moron has stolen her skates from her car #findDonnasskates.”

In the clip, the former X Factor contestant and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here campmate said: “So last night, my good mate Donna Air who is skating on Sunday had her car broken into and somebody has robbed her skates.

“I don’t know why you’d break into anyone’s car, it baffles me that s**t. But, if you can retweet this, and lets try and get her skates back because she’s skating on Sunday and it anyone’s put those blue skates on down at the ice rink you know that they hurt after about 10 seconds.

“So, to try and get some new boots ready for Sunday is going to be tough… I’m hoping that people can just help and try and find the bag with the skates in.”

Donna’s skates were taken while she was at the gym and it would be difficult to get a replacement pair by Sunday because they take time to mould to the skater’s feet.
