David Beckham has met his sister's newborn daughter Peggy for the first time - and the photos are SO CUTE.

Dad-of-four David is no stranger to babies, but he's still gone all gooey-eyed after meeting his newborn niece Peggy for the first time.

David's sister, Joanne, shared the news yesterday that she'd given birth to little Peggy, her first child with partner Kris Donnelly.

Revealing the news in an Instagram post, she wrote: "Such an amazing feeling starting our own family, the love I have for our little princess Peggy is one that is so unconditional!"

And it hasn't taken long for David to get in on the action, posting his own photos of himself with baby Peggy on Instagram.

He wrote: "Welcome to the world little Peggy ❤️ So proud of my little sis and congrats @krissydonners #Daddy such a beautiful family #proudUncle @joannebeckham."

David looked very proud of his sister, with a bit of a wibbly look in his eyes.

Fans flocked to the comments section to congratulate the family, as one wrote: "Aw huge congrats!!!! @joannebeckham ♥️ Enjoy your first Christmas as a mummy, so special and magical," and many others offering their best wishes.
