Cheryl Tweedy has revealed that she's recording music again in the studio - and she's taken one of her Girls Aloud pals in with her...

Cheryl, 34, became a first-time mum in March when she gave birth to her son Bear with boyfriend Liam Payne.

After one of the most secretive pregnancies in Celebville, Chez carried on keeping a low-profile and hasn't been seen much since then - apart from the odd photoshoot and guest judging on The X Factor.

And in an interview on Lorraine with Simon Cowell, Cheryl confessed that she had been offered new music - but that she was enjoying being a stay-at-home mum with Bear and wouldn't be taking any of them on any time soon.

But Cheryl, whose last music release was the single Only Human in 2015, has actually been back in the studio recording music again.

You sneak, Chez!

After being tagged in a tweet by band and music producers Team Salut, Cheryl responded saying that they'd enjoyed a "great session" together in the studio.

However - that wasn't the only admission, as Team Salut also tagged Cheryl's Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts...

Which MEANS that Cheryl and Nicola have been making music together again!

Could there be a Girls Aloud reunion on the cards?!

We blimmin' hope so...

This comes after Strictly Come Dancing's head judge Shirley Ballas revealed that her dream contestant for the show would be none other than Cheryl herself.

When asked by the Radio Times who she would love to see on the show, Shirley admitted that Cheryl would be "amazing".
