In what appeared to be a downcast outing earlier this month, Danny Jones and his wife Georgia Horsley were photographed together for the first time following the furore over his kiss with Maura Higgins at the BRIT Awards.
And after it was reported that the pair are a ‘united team and just want to focus on the future’ in the wake of the scandal, a source tells Closer that Georgia has presented her husband with an ultimatum ahead of him touring with McFly and Busted in the autumn.

A source says, ‘It’s been an incredibly tough time for Georgia and she’s really distraught over everything that’s happened. While she loves Danny, she can’t keep going through the same cycles. With the prospect of him moving out as he goes on tour soon, Georgia is understandably nervous after recent events. She’s worried about what happens when he’s on the road – but she also knows that there’s a chance they can fix things. She has given Danny a clear ultimatum – it’s now or never and he needs to prove he’s all in. Danny doesn’t want to lose her, and there’s still hope.’
King of the Jungle Danny – who turned 39 last week – has since broken his silence on the viral video that appeared to show him sharing a kiss with his I’m A Celebrity co-star Maura, 34, at the BRITs earlier this month. Issuing a public apology last week, he wrote, 'Sorry its taken me a while to post this but I've taken some time out to be with those closest to me.
'I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love then so much and we'll continue to deal with this privately.'

Saying that the couple are planning on handling the situation, a source said, ‘Danny and Georgia took time away together to talk about what happened at the BRITs. It has been incredibly embarrassing for them both and Danny had a lot of questions to answer. Their marriage is strong though, and Danny and Georgia just want to move on with their lives now.’
Meanwhile, former Miss England Georgia, 38 – who has been married to McFly musician Danny since 2014, four years before they welcomed son Cooper, seven – opened up in November about her feelings towards her husband when they first met.
She recalled how Danny had ‘two other dates lined up’ when he asked her out. She admitted, ‘He was a bit of a d*ck, and I didn’t really like him.’
Danny pursued Georgia for a year before she finally agreed to go on a date with him in 2009, but she still had her reservations. She confessed, ‘I said he’s probably going to be a bit of a top shagger, isn’t he? I just assumed. I treated him mean, kept him keen – without realising.’

With Danny heading on tour for the Busted vs McFly tour in September, PR expert Nick Ede discussed the impact the scandal is having. He said, ‘The current news about Danny’s kiss with Maura is overshadowing the Busted McFly tour momentum. But with it starting in September, the bands will hope that this will have died down by then.’
And now, an insider reveals that the tour will be a defining moment for Danny and Georgia, especially after battling issues in their marriage.

The source says, ‘Danny and Georgia have been struggling for a while now, but they’ve been trying to keep things together for Cooper’s sake. They both still care deeply about each other and they’ve done everything they can to hold it together, but there have been a lot of issues. They’ve always had a passionate relationship, but lately, it’s been more downs than ups. Georgia’s been feeling neglected and like she’s constantly questioning things.
‘With Danny heading on tour soon, she’s hoping the space will give them both clarity and bring them closer. They want to find a way to make it work, and hopefully this will be it.’
