Barmaid and actress Dani Dyer, 21, is set to join Love Island 2018 and she's hinted that her dad, Danny Dyer - who plays EastEnders legend Mick Carter, will make a guest appearance on the ITV2 show.
Dani told The Sun that her dad will fly out to the island if she reaches the final stages of the ITV show. Err, talk about an embarrassing parent.
Dad Danny, 40, recently said he'd "do over" anyone who tried to sleep with his daughter. Dani had explained: "I'll even have to resist kissing and wait until I get out. He's massively protective but I haven't had many boyfriends so he's had it quite lucky, until now."
It looks like Danny's had a change of heart to put his daughter at ease before she starts the competition. She has now said: “He is so laid back in everything I do. He said, ‘Whatever you want to do, go do it.’ And I’m like, ‘Ah thanks, dad'."
But despite his seal of approval, Dani insists that she won't sleep with anyone on the show out of respect of her dad. She added: “I would never have sex on TV. I know everyone says they wouldn’t but I don’t think I would. But he said to me, ‘Listen, if that’s something you did’, and I stopped him there and said, ‘No I wouldn’t'."

Dani joins ten other Love Island contestantsfor the first episode to be aired on 4 June. Hopefully, her male suitors won't be too intimidated by her dad's previous threats in their pursuits of lurrrve.
