Concerns have grown for Danniella Westbrook as the TV actress was spotted wearing a bandage on her nose. The photos show Danniella looking tired, whilst trying to cover up her nose with her hands.
Daniella is best known for her role in Eastenders, Hollyoaks and her stint in Celebrity Big Brother. Danniella was due to return to her role as Trudy in Hollyaoks but a rep confirmed how she 'breached her contract'.
Fans noted how the dressing below her nose is all too familiar, as Danniella's nose infamously collapsed after snorting too much cocaine in the early noughties. She has since had treatment for drug abuse and has 'come clean' from the Class A drug.
A spokesperson rubbished claims by stating the TV star was poorly.
“Danniella has been in hospital on and off for the last four weeks with septicaemia, caused by her teeth.
“Steel rods going into her gum have caused an infection and therefore she is wearing a plaster with a sponge in her nose to stop the infection spreading.”
NHS Consultant Dr Ron Daniels (who funded the Sepsis Trust) told The Sun newspaper that 'it is an odd way of treating a dental infection.'
Either way, we hope Danniella gets the love and support she needs.
