The 41-year-old former EastEnders actress kicked off 2014 by splitting from Kevin Jenkins, her husband of 13 years.

She then got together with 24-year-old Tom Richards, despite the age gap, quickly getting engaged to him.

Just weeks after it was confirmed that mum-of-two Danniella was expecting her first child with Tom, she tragically miscarried the baby in June.

Then in August the former cocaine addict revealed she had relapsed and slept with her drug dealer while on holiday in Magaluf.

As a result of this, Danniella headed to LA to seek treatment.

But, although she and Tom are now believed to have ended their relationship, she’s not letting anything get her down.

Taking to Twitter this week, Danniella showed off a gorgeous new hairstyle. She captioned it: “Coming back stronger this time around with the right players on my team #teamwestbrook #stronger #liverpool [sic]”

Her shorter, darker do was well received by fans. One user complimented: “U look fab. Go on girl onwards n upwards x [sic]”

Danniella, who is mum to son Kai, 17, and 12-year-old daughter Jody, recently started shooting for a new film called On A Prayer
