It had to come out that her dad is Danny Dyer at some point, right?

The Love Island 2018 contestants are finally in the villa and the couples are paired up, while we prepare to wave goodbye to our social lives this summer.

But did the gals and guys know that they're sharing with a celebrity daughter? They do now.

Actress and barmaid Dani Dyer, 21, revealed to her other half, stationary sales manager Jack Fincham, 26, that her dad is EastEnders actor Danny Dyer, 40, just hours after coupling up.

While getting to know each other, Dani told Jack: "I’ve always wanted to do acting. My dad’s an actor. Having that in your family, when you’re on set, it was weird for me, being brought up with it, I thought ‘I like this'."

Naturally, Jack asked Dani who her actor dad was and she replied: "My dad…let’s just get it out the way. My dad’s Danny Dyer."

And Jack's reaction couldn't have been sweeter. Dani told viewers in the Beach Hut: "It was actually a really nice reaction. Usually boys get a little bit…they start getting all ‘gangster’ and they start quoting films. He didn’t quote one quote and I thought ‘thank god for that'."

Dad Danny has previously said that he'll "do over" any guy who tries it on with his daughter, then went on to give his blessing to his daughter if she wants to sleep with someone she likes. There's even a rumour that he'll make a guest appearance on the show later in the series.

The response on social media to Dani's revelation has been hilarious.

One meme reads: "When your daughter could have picked anyone, including a doctor, but she goes for the ones who sells bloody pens..."

Another Twitter user said: "Dani dropping the dad bomb like " I was in blazin squad" #loveisland #marcel #dannydyerDani"

And many viewers commented on how quickly she made the confession, with captions such as: "Took less than an hour for Dani to say who her dad was🙄😂 #LoveIsland2018 #dannydyer"

The show ended on an almighty cliffhanger last night, with viewers left thinking that personal trainer Adam Collard, 22, was about to swoop in and split up Dani and Jack.

Dani is certainly causing a stir and we can't help but wonder what the response in the Dyer household is. All eyes are on Danny Dyer's Twitter.
