Antony Cotton fires back at James Jordan after scathing Dancing On Ice tweets

Coronation Street's Antony Cotton has hit back at former Strictly Come Dancing professional James Jordan after he slated his Dancing On Ice performance

Poor old Antony Cotton's Dancing On Ice dream came to a swift end on Sunday after he was voted out in a double elimination with Donna Air.

But he didn't take his criticism from the judges very well, and viewers of the show who took to Twitter to slate his "bad attitude."

However, the heat turned up a notch when former Strictly Come Dancing professional James Jordan waded into the debate, tweeting: "Watching @dancingonice and Anthony Cotton just got destroyed by the judges but justifiably.

"Also, is it just me but he does seem like he could be a right pain to work with. Doesn't come across likeable at all."

Erm, didn't you get booted off Strictly for being a "right pain to work with," James?!

Anyway...

Coleen Nolan's son Shane then got involved, writing: "I heard he's a tit."

But Antony and his professional partner Brandee Malto have since slammed the outspoken dancer, taking to Twitter to air their views.

Brandee chose to address James' speculation that Antony was "a right pain to work with," directly tweeting him: "Judging a person does not define who they are. It defines who you are @The_JamesJordan.

"Antony is loving, caring and kind. He has a beautiful soul and I love that we are good friends now. My journey on @dancingonice has been amazing because of him."

Antony gratefully responded to his partner's kind words, also tagging James in a response which read: "My girl, B. Thank you. Loved every minute. We did it for your dad!!!

"Hope that answers your question James. And hey - best of all, I’m not you. Win, win."

WOW.

Antony also hit back at Shane's allegation that he "refused to give people an autograph at a charity event," writing: "That isn’t true. I have never refused anyone an autograph, let alone at a charity event."
