She’s best known for playing Carla Connor in Coronation Street, but recently Alison King’s own personal life seems lifted from a soap opera.
The actress and model, 46, hit the headlines last month for reportedly being escorted from the NTAs for being drunk, after she was seen apparently kissing her married co-star Mikey North.
But the actress, who’s engaged to IT salesman David Stuckley, denied anything went on, saying, “While it was obvious to see that regrettably I did have too much to drink at the National TV Awards, and chose to leave the event early, I did not kiss my co-star Mikey North as has been reported.”
Alison was then pictured wearing her engagement ring while on a shopping trip, with sources saying that the star was “mortified” by all the drama.
Alison got engaged to David, 36, in August 2019 while on holiday in Portugal, revealing he had designed the platinum and diamond ring himself.
